Our goal is to be a thriving, inviting, inclusive community striving to reach out to the world with the compassion and unconditional love of Jesus.
Those are "mission statement" words that we put into practice by being real, showing authentic love and celebrating life wherever we see it. We have been serving the Woodinville, Duvall, Monroe, Redmond communities since 1992, but we believe that the best years for all of us are yet to come.
At Bear Creek United Methodist Church, we understand that God’s grace extends to all people. We welcome and affirm persons of any age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnic background, faith tradition, physical and mental ability, economic condition, marital status, family configuration, and in all the ways in which God’s family is diverse and whole.
If you read the Bible without a Western bias, you'd never have the idea that the authors intended "church" to be a room full of quiet people sitting in rows while listening to a single voice.
Community happens when everyone has a voice.
In BCUMC's small groups, we give every person a voice so that, together, we can grow as students of grace.
Children are always welcome to worship with us at Bear Creek. Their joy and creativity are contagious, and their examples help us deepen our understanding of our God’s love.
Every Sunday, we have an activity table and busy bags available for children of all ages. Along the back of our worship pace, there are rocking chairs for people who need to be snuggled.
Working with 6th grade through 12th graders, we aim to reach students for Jesus by providing them opportunities and space to ask questions and grow in their faith.
We meet at church on Sunday nights from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.
Games, food and bad jokes are a constant! Invite a few friends and see you there!
