Our education classes begin at 11:15am. There are choices for all ages:
Babies and toddlers (Ages 0-2) can remain in the nursery if parents are attending classes.
Ages 3-6 can head to rooms E2 & E3 for a multi-age, station-based Kid Connection experience. The stations will change each week, relating back to our lesson. We will gather all together after station time for wrap-up, praise, and prayer. The “Learning Lab” approach provides powerful connections between Scripture and everyday life by engaging all of the senses! Children are to be picked up at the classroom at 11:4am by a parent.
Ages 6 and up can attend our NEW intergenerational education experience, if child is accompanied by a parent or other mentor/adult (In E8/E9). We will focus on activities and music that relate back to the sermon series, actively participate in missions events, and create opportunities for our younger generations to work hand-in-hand with our more ‘experienced’ church members. You must check out this new class offering!
Adults have some choices:
A survey of the New Testament class (by Dave O – in the Multipurpose Room)
A caregiver class (by Antoinette Ward – in E5)
A young adult class, covering real issues people face during their first decade of independence (by Pastor Brook - in E6)

2018-2019 CHILDREN & YOUTH CURRICULUM INFO:
What if Jesus taught your kids? How would he do it? What tools would he use? What would he want them to learn and remember? The Bible gives us lots of examples of how Jesus did it 2,000 years ago. He used everyday objects like coins, fish, and plants to help people remember the truths he shared with them. Hands-On Bible Curriculum does the same thing. We call them "gizmos," and they serve the same purpose: to help kids understand important Bible truths. It worked for Jesus, and it still works today.
Ages 6 and Up:
We love to involve our older children as well! With our NEW intergenerational program, kids of all ages interact with young adults, other parents, and older members of our community. Please attend with your child, or have another adult or mentor partner with your child for the best experience. Activities range from mission projects, hands-on activities, group discussions, music, and much more!
Because we value teenage interaction and encourage our teens to really let their gifts shine, we hope they will attend the intergenerational program (as listed above). We have confirmation classes and youth group for this age group as well. Please see the Youth page on our website for more info about dates/times offered.
If you are interested in helping with Sunday education in any way, please talk to Heather Nelson. She has volunteer opportunities (long term and short-term) in which you can get involved.
