Women’s Group Presents: Susie Tucker Boer’s Faith Heroines Alive

Susie Tucker Boer performs live recitations (in costume/character) of the life and times of women of faith. Her presentations are moving, inspiring, and not to be missed.

This time, Susie presents herself  as a villager of Le Chambon, France, telling the story of how the village saved 5,000 Jews during WWII.

Brunch to be served at 10:00am.

Field Trip to the Cedar River Watershed

“Immerse yourself in the proud heritage of bringing water and light to the people of Seattle.  Founded in 1901, the city-owned town was a vibrant community for decades. See some of the original homes and street lights that still remain.  A   Seattle Public Utilities Naturalist will guide you on this walking tour where you will hear stories of those who lived and worked in Cedar Falls.”

An Evening of Dinner & Dancing

Bring your sweetheart, friends, and anyone you know with a love of music and dancing for an evening of social dancing, drinks, and light munchies.  We will have a DJ for musical selections.
Free ballroom classes for beginners will be offered before this event. Check our Community Programs page for more info at the end of December to sign up.

Bring a friend and enjoy and afternoon of lunch and shopping in a quaint locale with other interested ladies. Carpool available.

(Women’s Book Club)


A new book club just for women who like to read and want to share their passion for all different types of literature.
Books are selected and a session is lead by a different volunteer each month. We are open to all book recommendations and would love to have different volunteers share with us! Check our Community Programs page for more info about selected books and how to join.
