Classes for Children
(Sundays, 10:45 am – 11:45 am)

Children are invited to head to their own fellowship time after communion in room E8, right after communion (during general worship), please have your kids join us for snacks, drinks, birthday celebrations, joys, prayers, etc…All designed to connect our children with each other during a mini ‘Children’s Church’ time.  All the while, parents can stay in church and then head out to the lobby for fellowship with other adults.

At 10:45am, our entire group will head to rooms E2 & E3 for a NEW multi-age, station-based Sunday school experience! During Sunday school, kids are welcome to try out art stations (stamping, painting, texture tub, crafts), hands-on busy stations (legos, marble chutes, cup stacking, etc.), quiet stations (reading, puzzles, journals, music w/headphones), and Bible stations (Bible time, video lessons, Bible worksheets). The stations will change each week, relating back to our lesson. We will gather all together after station time at 11:30 for wrap-up, praise, and prayer.

Children are to be picked up at the classroom at 11:4am by a parent.  Children can be picked up from E8 any time after church if parents need to leave prior to 10:45am.

Birth to 3 yrs:

We provide rocking chairs, a supervised activity table, and “busy bags” in the Sanctuary during service for those who need to keep little ones occupied.

Pre-K to 5th Grade:

Sunday School Goes Deep with “Deep Blue” Experience.

This year our Sunday School is moving into the deep and wide stories of God.   We will start with the stories of King David and Solomon, and then move into the wonderful story of Jesus’ birth in December. Some of the stories we will be focusing on are: Hannah’s Prayer, God calling the prophet Samuel, David and Goliath, David and his special friendship with Jonathan, and Solomon’s work in building the temple.

After Christmas, we will focus in on the life of Jesus and follow him all the way to the cross and resurrection!

6th Grade to 12th Grade:

We love to integrate our older youth as well! If you are a teen or have a teen that is interested in supporting and mentoring our younger youth, please contact Danielle Walsh  and we will happily find a way to incorporate him/her into our Sunday school program.

We also have confirmation classes.  Please see our Youth and Teens page

If you are interested in helping with Sunday school in any way, please talk to Danielle.   She has volunteer opportunities (long term and short-term) in which you can get involved.
