Below are the giving options at BCUMC. The Operating Fund is our first priority, as it covers all facilities & salaries tied to our outreach programs. For more information on each fund and/or how to give contact the main office at 425-788-2953 or office@bcumc.org.

Operating Fund: This budget covers the costs of operating our church. This includes Christian education, community outreach, missions, staff salaries, building utilities and mortgage.

Capital Fund: The capital budget is used for building construction, debt reduction, changes to the church space, and special one-time expenses. Our goal is to become debt free so that we can increase our outreach to our community and the world, expand our educational programs and improve our facility and worship experience.

Endowment Fund: An opportunity for friends and members to make charitible gifts to BCUMC that will become a permanent endowment of financial support and a living memorial. Gifts to the fund can be in four areas: Mission Fund, Building Fund, Undesignated General Endowment Fund and specified named fund of your choice. Gifts may be given as cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, property, in wills & bequests.

Designated Giving Funds:From time to time BCUMC will have a special designated giving opportunity. During the church year there are six special offerings: Human Relations Day, One Great Hour of Sharing, Native American Ministries Sunday, Pease with Justice Sunday, World Communion Sunday and United Methodist Student Day. Also there may be other special offerings from time to time to support our outreach.
