When: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month Now – August 2017
Time:  6:30-7:30pm
Where: BCUMC lobby
Join your instructors Dee and Tom McMillan in a fun and informal setting and learn how to social dance. Classes are geared toward beginners.  Set partners can be fun to have around but are not necessary as we will be rotating partners to practice the “social” part of social dancing. We will be using classic and contemporary music so that learners can listen and recognize the type of dance they wish to do. Ages as young as 12 are encouraged to join provided they can pay attention. More experienced dancers are welcome to attend and practice with us. Your assistance would also be appreciated.
To ensure a quality experience, classes are limited to twelve learners.
June 14th & 28th: It’s “wedding month”, let’s learn the graceful Waltz.
July 12th & 26th: Let’s loose and shake a leg with the Hustle!
August 9th & 23rd: Let’s heat things up a bit with the sultry Tango!
Contact Dee McMillan at 425.788.2953 or office@bcumc.org for more information or to sign up.

The Rising Strong™ curriculum focus on strengthening participants’ resilience and confidence so we all can live braver, more wholehearted lives.  The physics of vulnerability: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. Most of us experience falling as disappointment, hurt, failure and heartbreak. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, this group helps you get back up, live a more satisfying life, and own your stories of struggle so you can write daring new endings.  This group builds on the work of The Daring Way™ group we offered this spring, but you do not need to do both to benefit.

I’ve attached the Information Flyer with more information. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional information. I’m happy to discuss on the phone and in person.
