Eldercare Workshop
Posted by Bonnie under Announcements
Dear friends,
This Saturday, May 17, we are offering a very important class: Reducing the Wear and Tear of Eldercare: Intelligent Decision-Making for Your Aging Parent, Spouse or Yourself.
This class will help prepare families and individuals, step-by-step, for what’s needed to care for aging loved one (and themselves). Led by Seattle Times columnist and University of Washington lecturer Liz Taylor. Ms Taylor writes the very popular “Aging Deliberately” column in the Times. This workshop, valued at about $100, is being offered to the community for just the cost of the workbook ($35). A soup lunch will be served.
We have people registered from Bellingham to Des Moines. The class starts at 10:00 and goes until 5:00–a long but very worthwhile day. If you’ve read Liz’s columns, you know she has a lot of good information for us.
Don’t delay–we need to know how many workbooks to order. Please register by Wednesday if at all possible by calling 425.788.2953 or e-mailing office@bcumc.org.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
