Why is there suffering in the world?

Pastor Dave is often asked this question, and it’s one of the hardest to answer. It’s usually asked not merely in an academic sense, but by someone in the midst of a difficult time–dealing with a loved one who is ill or dying, suffering from anxiety or depression, or feeling anger and sympathy for the innocent victims of inhumanity, violence or disease.
