Dear Bearcreekians,

On Sunday during worship Vickie and I were presented with a Christmas gift from the congregation. Vickie had a little fore knowledge, but not much. I was totally taken by surprise and humbled by yet another sign of your love for us. I thought it would be some chocolate (it was) and maybe a gift card that would make a fun time for a dinner out. There was a gift card but it was a lot more than a dinner out, even out at a very expensive place. It is enough for me (and Vickie) to get some sailing gear I, I mean we, have been coveting. The truth is I don’t know what we will do with such a generous gift, but we will plan it together and have a great time. Thank you so very much from both of us.
