Dear Bearcreekians,

I am pretty excited and a little concerned.

I am going with Marny and crew on Saturday into the flood area to work.This is being coordinated by our Conference disaster folks.

I am excited to help. I am nervous because I don’t know what we will find and how I will react.

I am excited because this is the first large-scale attempt by a newly formed Conference disaster response team, and a little nervous for the same reason.

I am excited to be with other caring Bearcreekians. I can’t think of why being with them would make me nervous.

I am excited because this is a wonderful opportunity to practice SERVICE (of worship, study, service) in an uncommon way.

If you can’t be with us on Saturday, you can pray through the day for us.Those of us going need your support.
